Research on sliding mode controller of the high-speed maglev train under aerodynamic load

The high-speed maglev train will be subjected to extremely obvious aerodynamic load and instantaneous impact during passing another train, which brings significant challenges the train’s suspension stability safe operation. It’s necessary consider influence of shock waves in design control algorithms. Traditional proportion integration differentiation (PID) cannot follow change vehicle parameters or external disturbance, is easy cause fluctuation instability. To improve vibration suppression under impact, we a siding mode controller introducing primary suspension’s deformation replace on electromagnet. Furthermore, establish dynamic simulation model with three vehicles compare designed PID for their performance controlling presence operating open air. Simulation results show that sliding (SMC) method proposed this paper can effectively restrain electromagnet loads.
