ResearchGate Metrics’ Behavior and Its Correlation with RG Score and Scopus Indicators

Objective: Social networking sites are appropriate tools for sharing and exposing scientific works to increase citations. The objectives of the present study investigate activity Iranian scholars in medical sciences ResearchGate explore effect each four metrics on RG score. Moreover, citation faculty members Scopus relationship between these score were explored.
 Methods: population included all SBMU who have profiles (N=950). data collected through January 2021. Spearman correlation coefficient was applied examine indicators as well determine metric score.
 Results: findings revealed that publication had highest (0.918) with greatest impact it (p-value <0.001), while question asking showed lowest (0.11). there a significant <0.05). Furthermore, positive <0.05), which number shared publications compared other metrics.
 Conclusion: Researchers’ participation social network is effective increasing indicators. Therefore, more may favorable results improving universities’ ranking.
