Reshuffled strongly interacting massive particle dark matter

چکیده
In this work, we reanalyze the multi-component strongly interacting massive particle (mSIMP) scenario using an effective operator approach. As in single-component SIMP case, total relic abundance of mSIMP dark matter (DM) is determined by coupling strengths 3→2 processes achieved a five-point operator. Intriguingly, notice that there irreducible 2→2 process induced corresponding interaction sector, which would reshuffle mass densities DM after chemical freeze-out. We dub as reshuffled (rSIMP). Given observation, then numerically solve coupled Boltzmann equations including and to get correct yields rSIMP DM. It turns out masses must be nearly degenerate for them contribute sizeable abundances. On other hand, also introduce operators bridge sector visible via vector portal coupling. Notably, find mechanism sensitive size self-interacting cross section.

Planckian Interacting Massive Particles as Dark Matter.
The standard model could be self-consistent up to the Planck scale according to the present measurements of the Higgs boson mass and top quark Yukawa coupling. It is therefore possible that new physics is only coupled to the standard model through Planck suppressed higher dimensional operators. In this case the weakly interacting massive particle miracle is a mirage, and instead minimality as d...
متن کاملQuasi-particle model of strongly interacting matter
The successful quasi-particle model is compared with recent lattice data of the coefficients in the Taylor series expansion of the excess pressure at finite temperature and baryon density. A chain of approximations, starting from QCD to arrive at the model expressions for the entropy density, is presented.

In the early 1990's, an analysis was completed by several theorists of the available mass/cross-section parameter space for unusual particle candidates to solve the dark matter problem, e.g. strongly interacting massive particles (SIMPs). This analysis found several unconstrained windows , such that for SIMP masses and cross-sections within these windows, SIMPs could still be the dominant dark ...
