Revealing the intrinsic superconducting gap anisotropy in surface-neutralized BaFe2(As0.7P0.3)2

چکیده
Alkaline-earth iron arsenide (122) is one of the most studied families iron-based superconductors, especially for angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy. While extensive results have been obtained, surface complexity 122 caused by its charge-non-neutral rarely considered. Here, we show that can be neutralized potassium deposition. In potassium-coated BaFe$_2$(As$_{0.7}$P$_{0.3}$)$_2$, surface-induced spectral broadening strongly suppressed, and hence coherent spectra reflect intrinsic bulk electronic state recover. This enables measuring superconducting gap with unpreceded precision. The result shows existence two pairing channels. anisotropy on outer hole/electron pockets well fitted using an s$_\pm$ function, inner a clear deviation. Our provide quantitative constraints refining theoretical models also demonstrate experimental method revealing properties in future studies.

Superconducting gap anisotropy in Nd1.85Ce0.15CuO4: results from photoemission.
We have performed angle resolved photoelectron spectroscopy on the electron doped cuprate superconductor Nd1.85Ce0.15CuO4. A comparison of the leading edge midpoints between the superconducting and normal states reveals a small, but finite shift of 1.5-2 meV near the ( pi,0) position, but no observable shift along the zone diagonal near ( pi/2, pi/2). This is interpreted as evidence for an anis...
متن کاملAnisotropy of the superconducting gap in the iron-based superconductor BaFe2(As1-xPx)2
We report peculiar momentum-dependent anisotropy in the superconducting gap observed by angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy in BaFe2(As(1-x)P(x))2 (x = 0.30, Tc = 30 K). Strongly anisotropic gap has been found only in the electron Fermi surface while the gap on the entire hole Fermi surfaces are nearly isotropic. These results are inconsistent with horizontal nodes but are consistent with...
متن کاملA pr 1 99 4 Temperature dependence of the superconducting gap anisotropy in Bi
We present the first detailed data of the momentum-resolved, temperature dependence of the superconducting gap of Bi 2 Sr 2 Ca 1 Cu 2 O 8+x , complemented by similar data on the intensity of the photoemission superconducting conden-sate spectral area. The gap anisotropy between the Γ− ¯ M and Γ−X directions increases markedly with increasing temperature, contrary to what happens for conventiona...

Data on macroscopic superconducting anisotropy of MgB 2 are reviewed. The data are described within a weak coupling two-gaps anisotropic s-wave model of super-conductivity. The calculated ratio of the upper critical fields γ H = H c2,ab /H c2,c increases with decreasing temperature in agreement with available data, whereas the calculated ratio of London penetration depths γ λ = λ c /λ ab decrea...
