Risk-involved optimal operating strategy of a hybrid power generation company: A mixed interval-CVaR model

In this paper, a hybrid power generation company consisting of concentrated solar unit, wind turbines, battery system, and demand response provider is established to take part in electricity markets. The operating strategy the day-ahead adjustment (intraday) markets determined based on their coordinated operation. To tackle intrinsic uncertainties, for first time, mixed stochastic-interval model proposed which addresses uncertainty energy via interval optimization. examined problem formulated as multi-objective optimization risk both stochastic parameters can be involved. On basis, covers three objective functions, namely, expected radius midpoint company's profit together with conditional value-at-risk. Accordingly, normal boundary intersection lexicographic techniques are utilized derive feasible solutions. Lastly, numerical results presented performance framework investigated. indicate that suggested efficiently used handle decision-maker's preference over parameters, criterion associated becomes larger forecasting errors increase.
