Robust Power System State Estimation Method Based on Generalized M-Estimation of Optimized Parameters Based on Sampling

Robustness is an important performance index of power system state estimation, which defined as the estimator’s capability to resist interference. However, improving robustness estimation often reduces accuracy. To solve this problem, paper proposes a method for generalized M-estimation optimized parameters based on sampling. Compared with traditional robust estimator, M-estimator projection statistics improves and proposed parameter determination overall accuracy by appropriately adjusting its robustness. Considering different degrees non-Gaussian distributed measurement noises bad data, demonstrated be up 23% higher than through MATLAB simulations in IEEE 14, 118 bus test systems, Polish 2736 system.
