چکیده

Tumor necrosis factor receptor (TNFR)-associated factors (TRAFs) are a family of intracellular signaling adaptors that associate with the cytoplasmic tails diverse range lymphocyte receptors, including members TNFR superfamily, Toll-like (TLR)/interleukin-1 (IL-1) and IL-6 major targets for therapeutic intervention inflammatory diseases. TRAF5 is one seven TRAF highly expressed by B- T-lymphocytes. As compared to other members, biological pathophysiological functions have remained ambiguous since its discovery. promotes molecules such as glucocorticoid-induced family-related protein (GITR), CD27, CD40. In contrast, limits activity common subunit glycoprotein 130 kDa (gp130) in CD4+ T cells requires IL-27. also restrains TLR B cells. Thus, regulates both positive negative ways. This review will summarize findings recent studies terms how lymphocytes cell types expression contributes autoimmune diseases mice humans.

expression and clinical significance of tumor necrosis factor receptor-associated factor 6 in patients with colon cancer

conclusions traf6 plays an important role in the onset of colon cancer; therefore, drugs targeting it may have great clinical significance in the treatment of this disease. results the positive expression rate of traf6 in tumor tissues was 66.7%, which was significantly higher than in normal paracancerous tissues (18.5%). the positive expression rate of traf6 was significantly correlated with d...

Tumor necrosis factor receptor-associated factor 2 (TRAF2)-deficient B lymphocytes reveal novel roles for TRAF2 in CD40 signaling.

CD40 function is initiated by tumor necrosis factor (TNF) receptor-associated factor (TRAF) adapter proteins, which play important roles in signaling by numerous receptors. Characterizing roles of individual TRAFs has been hampered by limitations of available experimental models and the poor viability of most TRAF-deficient mice. Here, B cell lines made deficient in TRAF2 using a novel homologo...

[Tumor necrosis factor receptor-associated periodic syndrome].

Tumoral necrosis factor receptor-associated periodic syndrome (TRAPS) is an autosomal dominantly inherited disease belonging to the hereditary periodic fever syndromes, which are the main subgroup among systemic autoinflammatory diseases. TRAPS is characterized by prolonged and recurrent inflammatory attacks associated with fever and an acute phase reaction. Articular, cutaneous, ocular and abd...

Tumor necrosis factor receptor-associated factor 2 mediates mitochondrial autophagy.

BACKGROUND Tumor necrosis factor (TNF) signaling protects against ischemia/reperfusion-induced cardiomyocyte death, in vitro, ex vivo, and in vivo. TNF-receptor-associated factor 2 (TRAF2), an E3 ubiquitin ligase, coordinates cytoprotective signaling downstream of both TNF receptors, via unclear mechanisms. Noting that TRAF2 is recruited to mitochondria, and that autophagic removal of ubiquitin...

Evaluation of Tumor Necrosis Factor Alpha Polymorphism Frequencies in Endometriosis

Background The pro-inflammatory cytokine, tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α), is a pathogenic element for a number of disorders. Previous studies have reported that the -1031 T/C and -238 G/A polymorphisms in the promoter region of the TNF-α gene are important factors in reproductive-related disorders. One of the most common gynecological diseases of women during the reproductive years is endo...
