چکیده
The aim of the study was to determine number and anatomical configuration roots root canals maxillary first second premolars using cone-beam computed tomography scans. n273 CBCT scans were evaluated, obtaining a sample 592 premolars. Root canal anatomy categorized Ahmed´s classification. Data analyzed Pearsonâs Chi-squared test. Two present on 157 premolars, one in 132 three 17. Second presented 266 samples two 20; no roots. Eight different configurations found; most frequent 2MP B1 P1 (51,3 %) 1MP1 (63.6 morphology found Chilean population analysis internal revealed highly variable distribution canals, generally low medium complexity, similar what is other ethnic groups.

Evaluation of mandibular premolars root canal morphology by cone beam computed tomography
Introduction: To achieve a successful endodontic treatment, the clinician has to identify the different canal configurations.mandibular premolars have the wide variety of root canal morphology and they are known as the most difficult teeth to treat in endodontics.CBCT provides a non-invasive 3D confirmatory diagnosis as a complement to conventional radiography. The aim of this study was to...
متن کاملCone Beam Computed Tomography Study of Root and Canal Morphology of Mandibular Premolars in Indore Population
Knowledge of the variations in root and root canal morphology is mandatory for the success of endodontic treatment. Neglecting to probe, prepare and fill all the canals can lead to failure of endodontic treatment 1 . As a group the mandibular premolars are among the most difficult teeth to treat endodontically, because they have high incidence of multiple roots or canals 2 . Moreover their root...

OBJECTIVE The aim of the present study is to assess the root and root canal morphology of maxillary and mandibular premolars in a Turkish population by using cone beam computed tomography (CBCT). MATERIALS AND METHODS In this study, CBCT images of 2134 premolars (987 maxillary, 1147 mandibular) were obtained from 404 patients. Details of gender, age, number of roots and canals, and canal conf...

INTRODUCTION We investigated the root canal configuration of maxillary premolars in a Spanish population by using cone-beam computed tomography. METHODS Images of 804 maxillary first and second premolars were obtained from 620 patients who underwent cone-beam computed tomography scanning during preoperative assessment (before implant surgery, orthodontic treatment, dentoalveolar trauma diagno...
متن کاملA cone-beam computed tomography study of apical and mental foramen’s location in mandibular premolars
Introduction: Knowledge of the internal anatomy of the tooth, apical foramen (AF) and mental foramen (MF) is considered a basic prerequisite before root canal surgical and non-surgical treatments. The aim this study is evaluation the distance and situation of AF & MF to anatomic apex of mandibular premolar. Materials & Methods: In this cross-sectional study, CBCT images of mandibular p...
