Rooted Tree Optimization for Wind Turbine Optimum Control Based on Energy Storage System

چکیده
The integration of wind turbines (WTs) in variable speed drive systems belongs to the main factors causing low stability electrical networks. Therefore, order avoid this issue, WTs hybridization with a storage system is mandatory. This paper investigates WT operating at speed. contains permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) supported by battery (BSS). To enhance quality active and reactive power injected into network, direct control (DPC) scheme utilizing space-vector modulation (SVM) technique based on proportional-integral (PI) proposed. Meanwhile, improve rendition method (DPC-SVM-PI), rooted tree optimization (RTO) algorithm-based controller parameter identification used achieve PI optimal gains. compare performance RTO-based controllers, they were implemented tested along some other popular controllers under different working conditions. obtained results have shown supremacy suggested PIRTO algorithm compared competing regarding total harmonic distortion (THD), overshoot percentage, settling time, rise average value, overall efficiency, steady-state error.
