Scalar speed control of induction motor with curve-fitting method

Induction Motors (IM) are known to lag behind the rated speed when operating at different loads. In this context, controllers gain importance. This problem has attracted attention of many scientists from past present. study, it was carried out increase control performance IM. Scalar Control (SC) method is used in Variable Frequency (VFC) technique preferred SC. Thus, frequency change will be performed for IM, which must operate loads, reach speed. some Curve Fitting (CF) methods included numerical solution provide variation. These Polynomial, Fourier and Gaussian methods. calculate required IM loads transmit drive. The study been tested Matlab/Simulink program. results obtained tests showed that proposed techniques respond quickly load changes, a more precise stable produce successful results. Among producing similar results, Polynomial curve fitting (PC_IM) best performance. show can as direct controller.
