Scattering for NLS with a potential on the line

We show the H 1 scattering for a one dimensional nonlinear Schrödinger equation with a non-negative, repulsive potential V such that V, xV ∈ W 1,1, and a mass-supercritical non-linearity. We follow the approach of concentrationcompacity/rigidity first introduced by Kenig and Merle.

Energy-critical Nls with Quadratic Potentials

We consider the defocusing Ḣ-critical nonlinear Schrödinger equation in all dimensions (n ≥ 3) with a quadratic potential V (x) = ± 1 2 |x|. We show global well-posedness for radial initial data obeying ∇u0(x), xu0(x) ∈ L. In view of the potential V , this is the natural energy space. In the repulsive case, we also prove scattering. We follow the approach pioneered by Bourgain and Tao in the ca...

Counterexamples of Strichartz Inequalities for Schrödinger Equations with Repulsive Potentials

where u(t, x) is the unique solution of (1.1), see [12]. Notice that estimates (1.2) describe a certain regularity for the solutions of (1.1) in terms of summability but they do not give any gain of derivatives. For this reason Strichartz estimates are very useful in order to treat the local and global well-posedness of the semilinear Schrödinger equation, but they are useless in the study of t...

On a Sum Rule for Schrödinger Operators with Complex Potentials

where the constant C depends on t, γ and d (see also [6] for the case when V is real). The paper [5] deals with the natural question that appears in relation to the main result of [3]: what estimates are valid for the eigenvalues situated inside the conical sector {λ : |Iλ| < tRλ}, where the eigenvalues might be close to the positive half-line? Theorems of the article [5] provide some informati...
