Scoping Review Methodology: History, Theory and Practice

The number of literature reviews is growing every year. One relatively new type review the scoping (ScR). Only a handful such studies have been produced in Russian academia. It is, therefore, crucial to inform Russian-speaking audiences about history and evolution ScR methodology, stages features study, relevant international guidelines. Relevant data presented this narrative review. A PRISMA-ScR checklist has also translated, taking into account recommendations for translation PRISMA documents. published pediatrics related fields analyzed it noted that evaluated authors did not sufficiently follow current guidelines writing ScR.
