چکیده

Consider the dynamics of two point masses on a surface constant curvature subject to an attractive force analogue Newton’s inverse square law, that is under ’cotangent’ potential. When distance between bodies sufficiently small, reduced equations motion may be seen as perturbation integrable system. We take suitable action-angle coordinates average these perturbing terms and describe dynamical effects two-bodies.

A formalism is presented that allows an asymptotically exact solution of non-relativistic and semi-relativistic two-body problems with infinitely rising confining potentials. We consider both linear and quadratic confinement. The additional shortrange terms are expanded in a Coulomb-Sturmian basis.
