See How You Read? Multi-Reading Habits Fusion Reasoning for Multi-Modal Fake News Detection

چکیده
The existing approaches based on different neural networks automatically capture and fuse the multimodal semantics of news, which have achieved great success for fake news detection. However, they still suffer from limitations both shallow fusion features less attention to inconsistency between modalities. To overcome them, we propose multi-reading habits reasoning (MRHFR) multi-modal In MRHFR, inspired by people's reading summarize three basic cognitive put forward cognition-aware layer learn dependencies so as deepen their semantic-level integration. explore modalities develop coherence constraint two perspectives, first measures semantic consistency comments modal then probes deviation caused unimodal content through strategy. Experiments public datasets not only demonstrate that MRHFR achieves excellent performance but also provides a new paradigm capturing inconsistencies news.

Fake News Detection Through Multi-Perspective Speaker Profiles
Automatic fake news detection is an important, yet very challenging topic. Traditional methods using lexical features have only very limited success. This paper proposes a novel method to incorporate speaker profiles into an attention based LSTM model for fake news detection. Speaker profiles contribute to the model in two ways. One is to include them in the attention model. The other includes ...
متن کاملNews Video Story Segmentation Using Fusion of Multi-level Multi-modal Features in Trecvid
In this paper, we present our new results in news video story segmentation and classification in the context of TRECVID video retrieval benchmarking event 2003. We applied and extended the Maximum Entropy statistical model to effectively fuse diverse features from multiple levels and modalities, including visual, audio, and text. We have included various features such as motion, face, music/spe...
متن کاملCompositional Reasoning for Multi-modal Logics
We provide decomposition and quotienting results for multimodal logic with respect to a composition operator, traditionally used for epistemic models, due to van Eijck et al. (Journal of Applied NonClassical Logics 21(3–4):397–425, 2011), that involves sets of atomic propositions and valuation functions from Kripke models. While the composition operator was originally defined only for epistemic...
متن کاملSoft multi-modal data fusion
Clustering groups items together that are most similar to each other and sets those that are least similar into different clusters. Methods have been developed to cluster records in a data set that are of only qualitative or quantitative data. Data sets exist that contain a mix of qualitative (nominal and ordinal) and quantitative (discrete and continuous) data. Clustering records of mixed kind...
متن کاملMulti-modal decision fusion for continuous authentication
Active authentication is the process of continuously verifying a user based on their on-going interaction with a computer. In this study, we consider a representative collection of behavioral biometrics: two low-level modalities of keystroke dynamics and mouse movement, and a high-level modality of stylometry. We develop a sensor for each modality and organize the sensors as a parallel binary d...
