چکیده
Despite many benefits of agricultural biomass utilization as an energy source, there are certain disadvantages such the possible high emission nitrogen oxides (NOx). NOx represents one key challenges for use a fuel. The experimental denitrification chamber was used to evaluate impact initial NO content, NH3:NO molar ratio, flue gas temperature, and temperature difference between two sections on reduction using ammonia aqueous solution. optimization conditions done in concentration range from 200 800 ppm, ratios 0.31 3 second section 770 867?C. process under controlled is starting point secondary technique selective non-catalytic (SNCR) real-scale plants combusting or any other fuels with increased emission.

Pilot-scale study of the effect of selective catalytic reduction catalyst on mercury speciation in Illinois and Powder River Basin coal combustion flue gases.
A study was conducted to investigate the effect of selective catalytic reduction (SCR) catalyst on mercury (Hg) speciation in bituminous and subbituminous coal combustion flue gases. Three different Illinois Basin bituminous coals (from high to low sulfur [S] and chlorine [Cl]) and one Powder River Basin (PRB) subbituminous coal with very low S and very low Cl were tested in a pilot-scale combu...
متن کاملPredictive Modeling of Mercury Speciation in Combustion Flue Gases Using GMDH-Based Abductive Networks
Modeling mercury speciation is an important requirement for estimating harmful emissions from coal-fired power plants and developing strategies to reduce them. First principle models based on chemical, kinetic, and thermodynamic aspects exist, but these are complex and difficult to develop. The use of modern data-based machine learning techniques has been recently introduced, including neural n...
متن کاملMembrane-Cryogenic Post-Combustion Carbon Capture of Flue Gases from NGCC
Membrane gas separation for carbon capture has traditionally been focused on high pressure applications, such as pre-combustion capture and natural gas sweetening. Recently a membrane-cryogenic combined process has been shown to be cost competitive for post-combustion capture from coal fired power stations. Here, the membrane-cryogenic combined process is investigated for application to post-co...
متن کاملTheoretically predicted rate constants for mercury oxidation by hydrogen chloride in coal combustion flue gases.
In this work, theoretical rate constants are estimated for mercury oxidation reactions by hydrogen chloride that may occur in the flue gases of coal combustion. Rate constants are calculated using transition state theory at the quadratic configuration interaction (QCI) level of theory with single and double excitations, and are compared to results obtained from density functional theory, both i...
