چکیده
The selective oxidation of alcohols to aldehydes has attracted a lot attention because its potential use in agrochemicals, fragrances, and fine chemicals. However, due homogenous catalysis, low yield, selectivity, hazardous oxidants, traditional approaches have lost their efficiency. co-precipitation method was used synthesize the silver-cobalt bimetallic catalyst supported on functionalized multi-walled carbon nanotubes (Ag-Co/S). Brunauer Emmet Teller (BET), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive X-ray analysis (EDX), diffraction (XRD) were characterize catalyst. For cinnamyl alcohol (CA) with O2 as an oxidant, catalyst’s selectivity activity investigated. impacts several parameters activity, such time, temperature, solvents, dosage, stirring speed, comprehensively studied. results revealed that presence Ag-Co/S catalyst, could be employed effective oxidant for catalytic cinnamaldehyde (CD) 99% 90% conversion. In terms cost effectiveness, recyclability, outperforms competition. As result, under green chemistry methodology, it can utilized conversion CA CD.
