نویسندگان
چکیده
The online classroom is self-directed, where students decide when and how often they access their course material. Even in the traditional classroom, have shown a propensity to shift time allocation last minute, so it not clear what happens full control over learning schedules. Our interest whether this self-directed environment produces similar harmful binge behavior as observed with television, memory satisfaction experience decrease time. With clickstream data from an e-educator, we found 62% of sample binged by concentrating studies within semester rather than distributing activity throughout. Two types emerged significant: Front-bingers, who accessed majority education early, performed more similarly those spaced activities. Back-bingers, material late semester, did perform well. To help us better understand these findings, used relatively new measure called “clumpiness” summarize overall activity. We discuss our findings implications for marketing design.
