چکیده
Thermogalvanic hydrogel, an environmentally friendly power source, enable the conversion of low-grade thermal energy to electrical and powers microelectronic devices in a variety scenarios without need for additional batteries. Its toxicity, mechanical fragility low output performance are hindrance its wide application. Here, we demonstrate thermoelectric gels with safe non-toxic, recyclable, highly transparent flexible stretchable properties by introducing gelatin as polymer network SO3/42− redox electric pair. When temperature difference is 10 K, gel-based thermogalvanic cell achieves open-circuit voltage about 16.2 mV maximum short-circuit current 39 μA. Furthermore, extended application Gel-SO3/42− gel monitor hot or cold food, enabling self-powered sensing food detection. This research provides novel concept harvesting achieving harmless self-driven monitoring.

Transparent flexible nanogenerator as self-powered sensor for transportation monitoring
nt matter & 2012 0.1016/j.nanoen.2 thor at: School of Institute of Tech . [email protected] Abstract In this paper, we fabricated transparent flexible nanogenerators (NGs) by employing flexible polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) substrate for the growth of ZnO nanowires. The fully packaged NG showed good transparency with a transmittance of 50–60% in the visible range. The output voltage and current was...

This paper develops a novel power harvesting system to harvest ambient RF energy to power a wireless sensor. Harvesting ambient RF energy is a very difficult task as the power levels are extremely weak. Simulation results show zero threshold MOSFETs are essential in the RF to DC conversion process. 0.5VDC at the output of the RF to DC conversion stage is the minimum voltage which must be achiev...
