Sensing Performance of Mono and Bimetallic Nano Photonics Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS) Devices

In this research, sensing performance of mono and bimetallic nanophotonics SERS sensors gold-silver nano-columns for the detection chlorpyrifos was investigated. For optimum substrates Gold-silver/nano-column surface-enhanced, Raman scattering (SERS) achieved with silicon substrate. By combining Ag activity Au chemical stability Si large field enhancement, Au-Ag/nano-columns substrate revealed perfect reproducibility, homogeneity, sensitivity in addition to stability. The were tested by Atomic force microscope (AFM), emission scanning electron (FESEM), energy-dispersive X-ray analysis (EDS), diffraction (XRD). Findings presented research indicated modified distributions sizes formed alloy nanoparticles, hot spots junctions within layer after changing nanoparticles types. displayed an excellent recognition ultra-low concentrations solutions exponential relationship signal. highest enhancement factor (Ef=1.56×106) minimum limit 0.069 mg/Kg obtained Au-Ag sensors.
