Shape Optimization of Rotating Electric Machines Using Isogeometric Analysis

چکیده
This work deals with shape optimization of electric machines using isogeometric analysis. Isogeometric analysis is particularly well suited for as it allows to easily modify the geometry without remeshing domain. A 6-pole interior permanent magnet synchronous machine (IPMSM) modeled a multipatch approach and rotation realized by modeling stator rotor domain separately coupling them at interface harmonic basis functions. Shape sensitivity used find derivative goal functional, i.e., total distortion electromotive force. method freeform which not restricted choice set parameters. applied first time an model IPMSM minimizing force where reduction 75 % achieved.
