Share density‐based clustering of income data
نویسندگان
چکیده
The Lorenz curve is a fundamental tool for analyzing income and wealth distribution inequality. Indeed, the its derivative, so-called share density, provide valuable information regarding There widely recognized connection between elements from theory field. Starting this evidence, aim of work to compare inequality different subgroups, by using proper dissimilarity measure, borrowed theory, parametric densities. This measure then considered clustering purposes. To end, dynamic algorithm group unconventional data, such as density functions. Finally, an application, data Survey on Households Income Wealth (SHIW) Bank Italy, shown.

متن کاملThe Declining Labor Share of Income
We use two distinct panel datasets to extract and examine data on the labor share of output. From the first, we examine trends in the economy-wide labor share and from the second, we examine trends in the labor share of the manufacturing sector over the last three decades. Both datasets show that labor shares have decreased, starting from about 1980, in most regions of the world. This finding i...

In standard discussions (capitalistic economy), business firms and the income distribution property of production factors are dealt with in a manner in which they are independent from each other. and there is no interaction as such between them. Furthermore, no role whatsoever is assumed for externalities. If we accept that there is interaction between production factors, and these 1actors, bec...
متن کاملEntropy-based Consensus for Distributed Data Clustering
The increasingly larger scale of available data and the more restrictive concerns on their privacy are some of the challenging aspects of data mining today. In this paper, Entropy-based Consensus on Cluster Centers (EC3) is introduced for clustering in distributed systems with a consideration for confidentiality of data; i.e. it is the negotiations among local cluster centers that are used in t...
