چکیده
Background: Interstitial cystitis (IC) is a chronic, debilitating bladder disease that primarily affects middle-aged women and significantly their quality of life. Bladder hydrodistention the usual therapeutic diagnostic procedure, but symptoms tend to relapse. Adding hyaluronic acid has been shown improve outcomes. Objectives: To compare effects alone or with intravesical cystistat (40 mg sodium hyaluronate in 50 mL vial) treating IC/bladder pain syndrome (IC/BPS). Methods: This randomized controlled clinical trial was conducted Imam Reza Hospital Mashhad 2017. Twenty-four female IC/BPS patients were selected using examinations O`Leary-Sant IC questionnaire evaluate treatment effects. Patients history other diseases related urogenital system urination frequency less than eight times day excluded. The control group (n = 12) underwent under general anesthesia, intervention received addition weekly for four weeks, followed by monthly two months. Results: In group, mean baseline score 33.2 ± 1.9 reached 33.9 2.6 after three months, showing no significant change. 32.6 3.6 6.4 12.4 at end third month, which indicates better improvement (P < 0.001). this study, resolved 83.3% months treatment, while controls did not improve. Conclusions: Based on our instillation effective alone.

Intravesical instillation of hyaluronic acid prolonged the effect of bladder hydrodistention in patients with severe interstitial cystitis.
OBJECTIVES To evaluate the efficacy of intravesical instillation of hyaluronic acid (HA) after hydrodistention for the treatment of patients with interstitial cystitis (IC) having small bladder capacity. METHODS A total of 47 patients with IC (aged 27-76 years) whose functional bladder capacity was less than 200 mL received bladder hydrodistention. Thereafter, 20 patients received intravesica...

PURPOSE To evaluate the clinical efficacy of bladder hydrodistention and intravesical sodium hyaluronate in the treatment of interstitial cystitis (IC). MATERIALS AND METHODS Twenty-one patients with IC received intravesical sodium hyaluronate therapy under nerve block or intravenous anesthesia. Bladders were perfused with 100 cmH2O perfusion pressure and expanded for 10 min and were later in...
متن کاملEffect of Transurethral Resection With Hydrodistention for the Treatment of Ulcerative Interstitial Cystitis
PURPOSE Many treatment options to help relieve the symptoms of interstitial cystitis (IC) are available, but none are effective. Because no reports of transurethral ulcer resection with hydrodistention are available, we assessed the effects of such combined surgery for ulcerative IC. MATERIALS AND METHODS Between June 2006 and June 2011, 87 female patients with IC who underwent transurethral ...
متن کاملRole of cystoscopy and hydrodistention in the diagnosis of interstitial cystitis/bladder pain syndrome
There are controversies about whether cystoscopy with or without hydrodistention (HD) plays a role in the diagnosis and treatment of interstitial cystitis/bladder pain syndrome (IC/BPS). We reviewed the recommendations of various societies and associations of greater impact in this complex disease, analyzing the indications, technique, findings and complications of this procedure.
