Abstract The antibacterial properties of silver nanoparticles have been well-proven. Various ways modifying to get better activity reported. Metal crystals from micro nano size produce excellent and promising in a wide range applications. methods used the production nanoparticles, ranging chemical biological (green synthesis). Synthesis metal with plant media brings advantages, one which is not damaging environment. ability has promised, so it necessary study its prospects as disinfectant, especially use plant-based hand sanitizers that are more skin-friendly. In this review, potential using green synthesis method described natural material-based disinfectant environmentally friendly.
