During plant operation, corrosion products from feedwater, drain and condensate system accumulate on the secondary side of steam generator in form scaled deposits around tubes sludge piles top tubesheet. These increase potential for corrosion, affect fluid flow reduce heat transfer efficiency generator. Using data obtained during periodical eddy current examination tubing, information deposit location thickness is extracted low frequency absolute channels. Sludge can be detected over whole length inspected tube. automatic analysis results are provided within 36 hours after inspection. Results imported Mapping software presented 3D visualization Both PWR VVER supported. mapping provides visual using color code by calculation position indication, draws indication where was found. heavy loading areas help with tracking build-up time that used optimizing maintenance.
