Smart Services in Smart Cities: Insights from Science Mapping Analysis

Against the backdrop of expanding debate on smart cities, objective this paper is to examine what extent and end connection between services cities has been explored in literature, make it. It argued that services, including demand- innovation-driven service development, constitute an essential part broad concept city. Viewed way, serve as one key levers through which grow, develop, build their resilience. By placing analysis broader context city system, sheds light still underexplored fields research suggests how they could be examined. For purpose analysis, Science Mapping (SciMat) method employed it allows quantify visualize output featured Scopus Web (WoS), thus aiding analysis. The added value two-fold, i.e., (i) SciMat identifies dimensions nascent debate, consequently, (ii) for suggesting topics should further investigated detect drivers cities’ growth, resilience, sustainability.
