Social justice and career development: Progress, problems, and possibilities

Drawing on scholarship in the fields of vocational and industrial/organizational (VIO) psychology, we propose a definition social justice assess progress problems achieving it. Using critical psychology lens, find that historical focus higher-income settings workers with relatively privileged status reflects neoliberal underpinning implicit most VIO psychology. We identify five marginalizing conditions act at macro levels to perpetuate quo restrict toward justice: group bias, forced movement people, poverty, unemployment, lack decent work.
