چکیده

Background and aimsCompetitive vegetation in forest stands influence seedling growth by changing soil nutrient availability. However, studies on the effects of different weed control methods Chinese fir (Cunninghamia lanceolata (Lamb.) Hook.) are rare.MethodsWe applied three methods, comprising artificial sickle weeding (ASW), woody disc (WDW), nonwoven cloth (nWCW), to explore their effect seedlings a plantation Jiangxi Province, China.ResultsThe affected shoot height root-collar diameter seedlings. The contents sugar, glucose, triglycerides, total cholesterol, free fatty acids newly developed leaves were increased after ASW nWCW treatment, consistent with expression genes associated glucokinase, sucrose phosphate synthase, synthase. Weeding method influenced properties, including pH, moisture, nitrogen (TN), ammonium-N, nitrate-N, phosphorus, available dissolved organic carbon contents. Moisture content was main factor that bacterial community leaf nutrition. High-throughput sequencing 16 S rRNA gene revealed structure. Specifically, compared nWCW, WDW contributed lower diversity, simpler interaction, increase pathogenic bacteria potential.ConclusionsThe differ structure, plant growth, which potentially useful improve strategies recommended be practice fir.

Stability of soil organic carbon changes in successive rotations of Chinese fir (Cunninghamia lanceolata (Lamb.) Hook) plantations.

The importance of soil organic carbon (SOC) under forests in the global carbon cycle depends on the stability of the soil carbon and its availability to soil microbial biomass. We investigated the effects of successive rotations of Chinese fir (Cunninghamia lanceolata (Lamb.) Hook) plantations on the stability of SOC and its availability to microbes by adopting the two-step hydrolysis with H2SO...

Ion Flux in Roots of Chinese Fir (Cunninghamia lanceolata (Lamb.) Hook) under Aluminum Stress

Chinese fir is a tall, fast-growing species that is unique to southern China. In Chinese fir plantations, successive plantings have led to a decline in soil fertility, and aluminum toxicity is thought to be one of the main reasons for this decline. In this study, Non-invasive Micro-test Technology was used to study the effect of aluminum stress on the absorption of 4 different ions in the roots...

Isolation of High-Quality Total RNA from Chinese Fir (Cunninghamia lanceolata (Lamb.) Hook)

RNA isolation with RNA in a high quantity is a basic analytical method in plant genetics, molecular biology and related physiological investigations. To understand the genetic and molecular biology of Chinese fir, sufficient high-quality total RNA must be obtained for cDNA library construction and other downstream molecular applications. However, extracting RNA from Chinese fir is difficult and...

Detection of SNPs based on DNA specific-locus amplified fragment sequencing in Chinese fir (Cunninghamia lanceolata (Lamb.) Hook)

Compared to angiosperms, conifers represent more complex genomes with larger giga-genome size. To detect large-scale single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs), whole genome sequencing of a conifer population is still unaffordable. In this work, we report the use of DNA specific-locus amplified fragment sequencing (SLAF-seq) for large-scale SNP detection in Chinese fir (Cunninghamia lanceolata (Lam...

Isolation and characterization of microsatellite loci for Cunninghamia lanceolata (Lamb.) Hook.

As a result of human activities, wild populations of Cunninghamia lanceolata (Cupressaceae) have sharply declined in recent years. The development and implementation of a valid conservation strategy require a clear understanding of the genetic makeup of this species. Eleven polymorphic microsatellite loci were isolated and characterized from samples of 52 individuals from the Provenance Test Pl...
