چکیده
Abstract Quantum Annealing (QA) is a metaheuristic for solving optimization problems in time-efficient manner. Therefore, quantum mechanical effects are used to compute and evaluate many possible solutions of an problem simultaneously. Recent studies have shown the potential QA such complex assignment within milliseconds. This also applies field job shop scheduling, where existing approaches however focus on small sizes. To assess full this area industry-scale formulations, it necessary consider larger instances potentials computing these scheduling while finding near-optimal solution Consequently, paper presents QA-based scheduling. In particular, flexible various sizes computed with QA, demonstrating efficiency approach regarding scalability, quality, time. For evaluation proposed approach, compared scientific benchmark state-of-the-art algorithms problems. The results indicate that has time efficient Even large can be seconds, which offers possibility application industry.

Solving Flexible Job Shop Scheduling with Multi Objective Approach
In this paper flexible job-shop scheduling problem (FJSP) is studied in the case of optimizing different contradictory objectives consisting of: (1) minimizing makespan, (2) minimizing total workload, and (3) minimizing workload of the most loaded machine. As the problem belongs to the class of NP-Hard problems, a new hybrid genetic algorithm is proposed to obtain a large set of Pareto-optima...
متن کاملFlexible Job-Shop Scheduling Problems
Planning and scheduling problems in various industrial environments are combinatorial and very difficult. Generally, it is extremely hard to solve these types of problems in their general form. Scheduling can be formulated as a problem of determining the best sequence to execute a set of tasks on a set of resources, respecting specific constraints like precedence or disjunctive constraints (Car...
متن کاملA Simulated Annealing Algorithm for Multi Objective Flexible Job Shop Scheduling with Overlapping in Operations
In this paper, we considered solving approaches to flexible job shop problems. Makespan is not a good evaluation criterion with overlapping in operations assumption. Accordingly, in addition to makespan, we used total machine work loading time and critical machine work loading time as evaluation criteria. As overlapping in operations is a practical assumption in chemical, petrochemical, and gla...

متن کاملSolving Fuzzy Job-Shop Scheduling Problems with a Multiobjective Optimizer
In real-world manufacturing environments, it is common to face a job-shop scheduling problem (JSP) with uncertainty. Among different sources of uncertainty, processing times uncertainty is the most common. In this paper, we investigate the use of a multiobjective genetic algorithm to address JSPs with uncertain durations. Uncertain durations in a JSP are expressed by means of triangular fuzzy n...
