Some technical properties of dried Terminalia chebula (kara halile) for use in harvest and post-harvest processing

Depending on humidity, some technical properties of T. chebula (black halile) dried fruit were investigated. It was observed that various properties, such as dimension, geometric mean diameter, and arithmetic increased linearly with increasing moisture content. With the increase in content, sphericity from 57.2% to 67.7%, surface area 487.65 mm2 805.03 mm2, porosity 0.49 0.59, angle repose 22.77° 27.86°. However, true density, bulk density decreased 1.85% 3.27%, 1469.54 kg/m3 1740.22 kg/m3, 735.64 705.99 respectively. When content static dynamic friction coefficient 0.231 0.495 0.311 0.637, The lowest force values obtained for stainless steel highest rubber surface. tensile strength 446.46 N 257.59 N.
