Air pollution is becoming a serious challenge in thickly populated areas the world. The air Kurdistan region clearly noticed, especially where sources and human population are concentrated. Urbanization economic growth proceeding at rapid pace, accompanied by increasing emissions of mixture greenhouse gases from transporting sector, that positively contribute to accelerate climate change around globe, also have impacts on public health vegetation. In order decrease effects caused atmospheric pollution, suitable monitoring systems urgently needed can rapidly reliably detect quantify polluting concentration for local authorities restrain more damage current levels. this study, GIS with portable gas detector (K-60 IV) KELISAIKE safety equipment, China, been used assess status NOx, VOCs noise 54 randomly selected urban locations Duhok city. measurements were taken during week weekend days started 9 am until 4 pm. results showed there variation values three variables noise, highest recorded working distributed along highway city center heavy traffic load dense comparison lowest obtained outskirt lower loads.
