Spatially consistent physical characteristics of <scp>UK</scp> rivers: 1‐km data

چکیده
The physical river characteristics datasets described here provide spatially consistent information to support hydrological and inundation modelling at a 1 km × resolution across the United Kingdom, on British National Grid. of gridded (outflow drainage directions, catchment areas, widths bankfull rivers depths rivers) comma-separated table NRFA (National River Flow Archive) gauging station locations. These are derived from range sources: outflow area existing higher datasets, whereas were harder source instead sparse historical measurements. new value for each UK land cell Grid (BNG). locations provides most appropriate 1,499 flow stations grids, together with approximate error in delineation upstream area. This article explains how UK-wide 1-km grids these variables estimated, their format use them. data available Environmental Information Data Centre (EIDC).

Modeling functional data with spatially heterogeneous shape characteristics.
We propose a novel class of models for functional data exhibiting skewness or other shape characteristics that vary with spatial or temporal location. We use copulas so that the marginal distributions and the dependence structure can be modeled independently. Dependence is modeled with a Gaussian or t-copula, so that there is an underlying latent Gaussian process. We model the marginal distribu...
متن کاملBayesian Melding of Deterministic Models and Kriging for Analysis of Spatially Dependent Data
The link between geographic information systems and decision making approach own the invention and development of spatial data melding method. These methods combine different data sets, to achieve better results. In this paper, the Bayesian melding method for combining the measurements and outputs of deterministic models and kriging are considered. Then the ozone data in Tehran city are analyze...
متن کاملDeriving Spatially Refined Consistent Small Area Estimates over Time Using Cadastral Data
Areal interpolation is the process of transferring data collected over source zones to target zones. One of the applications of areal interpolation is to construct temporally consistent areal units for comparing socioeconomic data over time. Dasymetric modeling is the process of employing ancillary data to spatially refine the distribution of socioeconomic variables. In this paper, three areal ...

متن کاملPhysical Layer Characteristics 1 Physical characteristics of mobile wireless networks
As the name suggests, wireless systems operate by transmission through space rather than through wired connection. There are two major problems to be addressed in a wireless setting that do not arise in the wired case. The first is that the channel over which communication takes place is time varying. The second being interference between multiple users using a common communication medium. Ther...
