Spatiotemporal Dynamics and Driving Factors of Ecosystem Services Value in the Hexi Regions, Northwest China

Land-use and climate changes can exert significant influences on ecosystem services value (ESV). However, interactions of these drivers in shaping the ESV remain unclear arid inland regions. In this study, dynamic from 1980 to 2050 Hexi Regions were evaluated by integrating land-use change other environmental factors using equivalent factor method, local spatial autocorrelation analysis, a geographical detector. Our results showed that distribution increased northwest southeast regions study area. The area-weighted mean Qilian Mountains (i.e., mountainous regions) was about 10.27–11.97-fold higher than Corridor plain during period. As for ecological protection (EP) scenario, 2020 2050, total increase estimated be larger under natural development (ND) rapid urbanization (RU) scenarios. Particularly, EP enhancement mainly resulted expansion forests, shrubs, grasslands, water. detector indicated LUCC dominant driver heterogeneity ESV, followed vegetation. Specifically, explained 35.39% 80.06% variation Mountains, respectively. Natural drivers, such as temperature, precipitation, evapotranspiration, soil organic carbon, assumed impacts corridor.
