چکیده
Remotely Operated Underwater Vehicle (ROV) is a submersible robotic system, used to examine various underwater characteristics and controlled by operators from shore. The applications of ROV are widely diverse, especially for exploration marine industry. This research investigate pressure drag on vehicles using the CFD approach. A low-cost mini with 300 mm length was determine hardware material type required prototype production observing simulation result. Simulation solved software RANSE method Shear Stress Transport based k- ɷ as turbulence setting. result indicated that pull surface depth 50 m requires thrust 3,9 kg receiving 7,7 bar.

This paper reports the development of a new remotely operated underwater vehicle (ROV) designed to serve as a platform for rapid development and deployment of novel underwater vehicle systems. The goal is to enhance our ability develop new underwater vehicle subsystems in the laboratory, and rapidly field-test these new systems. Although a significant fraction of ONR and NSF sponsored underwate...

Gliders are new marine vehicles which have research and military uses and they move by sequent diving and climbing. Suitable design of its main body and wings are important for the most advance velocity. hydrodynamic design variables are main body form, wings (cross section, dimensions, shape, longitudinal and vertical position) and hydrostatic parameters (static trim angle, amount of added for...
متن کاملRobust control of a remotely operated underwater vehicle
Underwater remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) play an important role in a number of shallow and deepwater missions for marine science, oil and gas extraction, exploration and salvage. In these applications, the motions of the ROV are guided either by a human pilot on a surface support vessel through an umbilical cord providing power and telemetry, or by an automatic pilot. In the case of automat...
