Spin Sensitivity and Magnetic Response Analysis of Nano-SQUIDs

This paper presents the spin sensitivity and magnetic response analysis of nano-superconducting-quantum-interference devices (SQUIDs). We employed computational study to understand schemes a nano-SQUID’s detection capability according device’s geometry fabrication process. find that performance nano-device increased by decreasing loop size SQUIDs, it reached maximum value at corners loop. then estimated flux noise SΦ SQUIDs in thermal white regime discussed field amplification factor around cross-section area. Furthermore, we fabricated YBa2Cu3O7 (YBCO) based nano-SQUIDs with Josephson junctions MgO biocrystal grain boundaries using Pulsed Laser Deposition (PLD) Focused Ion Beam (FIB) technique. By comparison our calculation, evaluated experimentally coincides nicely estimation.
