The stability of an open-pit slope is extremely important factor related to the safe production mine. It first safety technical problem encountered and should be solved in process mine design production. By means engineering geology hydrogeological investigation waste dump area Nayuan coal numerical simulation research, this paper analyzes studies stope detail puts forward measures such as prevention automatic monitoring achieve goal protecting surrounding environment. main research results are follows: (1) geotechnical physical mechanical indexes collected analyzed, report were determined, which basically meet requirements analysis.
