Static Hovering Realization for Multirotor Aerial Vehicles With Tiltable Propellers

چکیده
This paper presents a theoretical study on the ability of multi-rotor aerial vehicles (MRAVs) with tiltable propellers to achieve and sustain static hovering at different orientations. To analyze MRAVs hovering, novel linear map between platform's control inputs applied forces moments is introduced. The relation introduced hover orientations developed. Correspondingly, conditions for realize are detailed. A numerical metric then introduced, which reflects subclass defined as Critically Statically Hoverable platforms (CSH), where CSH that cannot fixed propellers, but can tilting propellers. Finally, extensive simulations conducted test validate above findings, demonstrate effect proposed dynamics.

Development of Flight Path Planning for Multirotor Aerial Vehicles
This study addresses the flight-path planning problem for multirotor aerial vehicles (AVs). We consider the specific features and requirements of real-time flight-path planning and develop a rapidly-exploring random tree (RRT) algorithm to determine a preliminary flight path in three-dimensional space. Since the path obtained by the RRT may not be optimal due to the existence of redundant waypo...
متن کاملAttitude Determination of Multirotor Aerial Vehicles Using Camera Vector Measurements
The employment of embedded cameras in navigation and guidance of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) has attracted the focus of many academic researches. In particular, for the multirotor UAV, the camera is widely employed for applications performed in indoor environments, where the GNSS signal is often unreliable and electromagnetic interference can be a concern. In the literature, images are mostl...
متن کاملApplication of Japanese Origami Ball for Floating Multirotor Aerial Robot
In this work, we propose the application of Japanese “Origami” art for a floating function of a small aerial vehicle such as a hexarotor. A preliminary experiment was conducted using Origami magic balls mounted under a hexarotor. This magic ball can expand and shrink using an air pump during free flying. Using this interesting and functional concept, it promises to reduce the resistance of wind...
متن کاملReconfigurable Unmanned Aerial Vehicles
Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) have been developing dramatically due to wars and miniaturisation of technology, which has made the UAV industry a very lucrative business. Research organisations have been funded by various research committees or military groups to push UAV developments at a very fast pace. Although these UAVs are high in capability, they are limited to a single use application ...
