Given the dynamism of markets and economic growth, nowadays companies must look for mechanisms that allow them to develop new strategies compete successfully. The objective this work is a statistical analysis complexity manufacturing system. methodological approach starts with data obtained through Likert technique, identifying characteristics associated high complexity, consequently, an inquiry made on factors influence significantly from experimental analysis, then factor determine correlations between variables raised, finally association elements system evaluated. study based sample 71 small- medium-sized in city Cartagena, Colombia. results show dominance systems, confirming level significance subsectors, type operation, process; determining there are variables; corroborating relationship
