Stiffness Modification-Based Bayesian Finite Element Model Updating to Solve Coupling Effect of Structural Parameters: Formulations

چکیده

The Bayesian model updating approach (BMUA) benefits from identifying the most probable values of structural parameters and providing uncertainty quantification. However, traditional BMUA is often used to update stiffness only with assumption well-known mass, which allows unidentifiable cases induced by coupling effect mass be circumvented may not optimal for structures experiencing damages in both stiffness. In this paper, new tailored estimating presented using two measurement states (original modified systems). A eigenequation a stiffness-modified system formulated address posterior function treated an asymptotic approximation method, giving objective functions modification. Analytical formulations modal are then derived linear optimization method. addition, covariance matrix uncertain determined inverse Hessian function. performance proposed evaluated through numerical examples study; probabilistic damage estimation also implemented. results show superior one updating.
