In sheet metal forming, free deformation of the takes place frequently without contact with forming tools. The pre-straining resulting from leads to a surface roughening metal. It is assumed that has an influence on friction and wear behavior following process as well painting quality after manufacturing. this paper, numerical prediction based polycrystalline model first proposed predict effect roughing material data as-received state Different states strain are analyzed result validated through experimental evaluation. Besides prediction, evaluated in strip drawing tests coefficient (COF) calculated. For interpretation measured COF, roughness test image by transparent toolset. shown transformation negative lubricating degrades behavior.
