چکیده
A new technique of Layered Hollow Core Slab (LHCS) has been used to obtain a slab with an optimum weight-to-strength ratio. Specimens 90 mm top layer High Strength Concrete (HSC) and bottom Lightweight Aggregate (LWAC) were examined. Nine full-scale slabs dimensions 1600* 450* 180 tested under 4-point loading test. The %core, a/d, RFT ratio, connection method the different studied parameters. push-out test was conducted on triplet specimens study bond strength at interface between HSC jacket LWAC cubes using agent material or shear dowels, without treatment, determine which them is suitable for connecting two layers slabs. Load, deflection, ductility, strain, crack pattern, mode failure studied. results indicate that ultimate enhanced decreasing a/d %core increasing ratio LHCS specimens. Using dowels ensures efficient ANSYS program modelling slab. numerical accepted experimental data variation less than 10% all

Influence of reinforcement arrangement in flexural fire behavior of hollow core slabs
This paper describes four standard scale fire tests conducted on precast prestressed hollow core slabs under flexure. The influence of the reinforcement arrangement was investigated using two test parameters: the average axis distance (from 30.1 to 46.7 mm), and the type of reinforcement (5 mm diameter wires and 9.5mm diameter strands). An ISO 834 standard fire was applied maintaining the load ...
متن کاملHIGH PRESSURE BEHAVIOR OF KCl: STRUCTURAL AND ELECTRONIC PROPERTIES
The high pressure behavior of the structural and electronic properties of KC1 is studied with use of the density functional pseudopotential method within local-density approximation. Atzero pressure, the rocksalt phase is found to be lower in energy than CsCl structure. However, we predict a phase transition into CsCI structure at a pressure of about 1.5 GPa. The calculated ground state pro...

In this study, first by surveythe parameters affecting the compressive strength, such as water to cement ratio, cementgrade, silica fume to cement percentage, and the various ratios oflight weight aggregate LECA, to total aggregate, Taguchi method is used, to test 9 mix designsobtained the mix design optimization. Since lightweight concrete is brittle like normal concrete, to resolve this probl...
متن کاملBehavior of high strength structural steel at elevated temperatures
This paper presents the mechanical properties of high strength structural steel and mild structural steel at elevated temperatures. Mechanical properties of structural steel at elevated temperatures are important for fire resistant design of steel structures. However, current design standards for fire resistance of steel structures are mainly based on the investigation of hot-rolled carbon stee...
متن کاملPrediction of Lightweight Aggregate Concrete Compressive Strength
Nowadays, the better performance of lightweight structures during earthquake has resulted in using lightweight concrete more than ever. However, determining the compressive strength of concrete used in these structures during their service through a none-destructive test is a popular and useful method. One of the main methods of non-destructive testing in the assessment of compressive strength...
