Study into the process of defective railtrack arc-hardfacing

The paper focuses exclusively on the manual arc hardfaced layers of railtrack repairing. study is conducted in two stages- structural analysis and mechanical characteristic(hardness) study. Two types technologies for defective areas rebuilding are developed. first one hardfacing without a buffer layer, second with layer. process carried out using electrodes particularly appropriate this purpose, namely OK 83.28 67.45, designed to achieve original hardness railtrack. All all, desired value magnitude can be achieved by use 63.28 electrodes.
