Study of the deficit in planning abilities of adults with Prader-Willi Syndrome

Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS) is a complex developmental genetic disorder associated with intellectual disability and deficits in executive functions which result disorganisation poor personal autonomy. This study aimed to determine impairments planning skills of adults PWS, relation their disabilities, as well the influence food compulsions on performance. A modified version Zoo Map from Behavioural Assessment Dysexecutive Syndrome was used three groups: group PWS comparison two groups both matched chronological age, one typical development (TD) (ID). Compared TD adults, ID showed increased time lower raw scores task. The execution number errors were higher compared groups. All performed worse non-food condition only for score.
