Study on flow and noise characteristics of composite NACA64418 blade under different inlet velocities

Abstract This paper conducts an analytical study on the composite NACA64418 blade. The uses large eddy simulation (LES) method to calculate unsteady flow field of at different inlet velocities, and trend characteristics with velocities was analysed. It found that energy wing increased continuously growth in velocity. However, based lift-to-drag ratio, it is presumed ratio will eventually remain constant or may even decrease when a certain velocity reached. Q-criteria used identify vortex structure. state surface high can be clearly distinguished according morphology, containing laminar, transitional turbulent regions. Finally, aerodynamic noise far-field obtained by solving Ffowcs Williams-Hawkings (FW-H) equation, are We obtain around increases increase value more significant Φ=90° 270°, but evident Φ=0° 180°.
