چکیده
Background: Climate warming has caused substantial changes in temporal and spatial environmental patterns. The study on hot spots of rare endangered plants Northwest China under predicted climate change can provide a scientific reference for the restoration reconstruction those degraded habitats, as well improvement protection system China. Results: Based MaxEnt algorithm, 813 effective distribution records 11 factor variables China, this identified biodiversity hotspots change. results showed that: (1) prediction accuracy model is high, area curve (AUC) 0.876, total suitable potential geographical 137.96×104km2, mainly including Western Southwestern Xinjiang, Southern Gansu, parts Eastern Qinghai Province, Shaanxi Province; (2) altitude, temperature precipitation are main factors affecting China; (3) four scenarios future, with increase emission from low to high forcing, Xinjiang would have most obvious loss which occur Gansu provinces. Conclusion: Under scenario increasing forcing happens that occurs

Identifying Malaria Hot Spots
A century ago, malaria was prevalent across much of the inhabited world. With improvements in housing, environmental management, access to antimalarial drugs (quinine, followed by chloroquine), and use of the insecticide DDT, malaria was driven from Europe, North America, and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. Building on these early successes, the World Health Organization launched the f...
متن کاملMaxent modeling for predicting suitable habitat for threatened and endangered tree Canacomyrica monticola in New Caledonia
Distribution data on threatened and endangered species are often sparse and clustered making it difficult to model their suitable habitat distribution using commonly used modeling approaches. We used a novel method called maximum entropy distribution modeling or Maxent for predicting potential suitable habitat for Canacomyrica monticola, a threatened and endangered tree species in New Caledonia...
متن کاملClimate impacts on global hot spots of marine biodiversity
Human activities drive environmental changes at scales that could potentially cause ecosystem collapses in the marine environment. We combined information on marine biodiversity with spatial assessments of the impacts of climate change to identify the key areas to prioritize for the conservation of global marine biodiversity. This process identified six marine regions of exceptional biodiversit...
متن کاملIdentifying Hot-Spots of Metal Contamination in Campus Dust of Xi’an, China
The concentrations of heavy metals (As, Ba, Co, Cr, Cu, Mn, Ni, Pb, V, and Zn) in campus dust from kindergartens, elementary schools, middle schools, and universities in the city of Xi'an, China, were determined by X-ray fluorescence spectrometry. The pollution levels and hotspots of metals were analyzed using a geoaccumulation index and Local Moran's I, an indicator of spatial association, res...
متن کاملIdentifying recombination hot spots in the HIV-1 genome.
UNLABELLED HIV-1 infection is characterized by the rapid generation of genetic diversity that facilitates viral escape from immune selection and antiretroviral therapy. Despite recombination's crucial role in viral diversity and evolution, little is known about the genomic factors that influence recombination between highly similar genomes. In this study, we use a minimally modified full-length...
