A Subclass of Analytic Functions Associated with Hypergeometric Functions
In the present paper, we have established sufficient conditions for Gaus-sian hypergeometric functions to be in certain subclass of analytic univalent functions in the unit disc $mathcal{U}$. Furthermore, we investigate several mapping properties of Hohlov linear operator for this subclass and also examined an integral operator acting on hypergeometric functions.
متن کاملTranscription factor and chromatin features predict genes associated with eQTLs
Cell type-specific gene expression in humans involves complex interactions between regulatory factors and DNA at enhancers and promoters. Mapping studies for expression quantitative trait loci (eQTLs), transcription factors (TFs) and chromatin markers have become widely used tools for identifying gene regulatory elements, but prediction of target genes remains a major challenge. Here, we integr...
متن کاملTranscriptional coactivator PC4, a chromatin-associated protein, induces chromatin condensation.
Human transcriptional coactivator PC4 is a highly abundant multifunctional protein which plays diverse important roles in cellular processes, including transcription, replication, and repair. It is also a unique activator of p53 function. Here we report that PC4 is a bona fide component of chromatin with distinct chromatin organization ability. PC4 is predominantly associated with the chromatin...
متن کاملMultiple orthogonal polynomials associated with Macdonald functions
We consider multiple orthogonal polynomials corresponding to two Macdonald functions (modified Bessel functions of the second kind), with emphasis on the polynomials on the diagonal of the Hermite-Padé table. We give some properties of these polynomials: differential properties, a Rodrigues type formula and explicit formulas for the third order linear recurrence relation. 1 Macdonald functions ...
متن کاملThe PHD Finger of the Chromatin-Associated Protein ING2 Functions as a Nuclear Phosphoinositide Receptor
Phosphoinositides (PtdInsPs) play critical roles in cytoplasmic signal transduction pathways. However, their functions in the nucleus are unclear, as specific nuclear receptors for PtdInsPs have not been identified. Here, we show that ING2, a candidate tumor suppressor protein, is a nuclear PtdInsP receptor. ING2 contains a plant homeodomain (PHD) finger, a motif common to many chromatin-regula...
