Background and Aim: Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a global health problem that can lead to longer hospital stays, higher medical costs increased mortality. The aim of this study was document the challenges viewpoints multidisciplinary subject experts participated in World Awareness Week (WAAW) 2022 program combat AMR India. Material Methods: This an observational conducted during celebrations WAAW 2022. Subject from departments microbiology, pharmacology, community medicine, general medicine obstetrics gynecology were invited deliver talks on different aspects AMR. Questions asked by delegates sessions responses given documented. data obtained arranged tabular form as per objectives study.Results: All emphasized urgent need reduce incidence expert microbiology reiterated importance institutional antimicrobial stewardship with restricting use broad-spectrum antibiotics only critically ill patients. Regulations framed dispense antimicrobials under schedule H1 must be strictly followed according pharmacology.
