Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is at the heart of smart city approach, which constitutes next level cities’ communities’ development across globe. Thereby, ICT serves as gluing component enabling different domains to interact with each other facilitating management processing vast amounts data information towards intelligently steering infrastructure processes, engaging citizens new services applications in various aspects urban life—e.g., supply chains, mobility, transportation, energy, citizens’ participation, public safety, interactions between administration, water management, parking many cases domains. Hence, given fundamental role cities near future, it paramount importance lay ground for a sustainable reliable infrastructure, can enable city/community respond resilient way upcoming challenges, whilst increasing quality life its citizens. A structured providing maintaining an open backbone constituted by concept Open Urban Platform. Therefore, current article presents activities developments necessary achieve resilient, standardized city, based on Platforms (OUP) these serve blueprint establishment backbone.
