Synthesis of Reduced Graphene Oxide Using Reducing Lime Juice (Citrus aurantifolia) and Its Application as Malachite Green Adsorbent in Aquatic Environments

چکیده
The cytotoxicity of fishes resulting from the presence various industrial dyes in effluents is a significant global concern. This study aims to synthesize Reduced Graphene Oxide (RGO) using natural reducing agent lime juice. synthesis process uses modified Hummer method. Langmuir and Freundlich Isothermal equations are used adsorption character MG RGO. kinetics was studied first second order equations. capacity measured with concentration 2, 10, 50, 100 mg L-1 respectively. results obtained for isotherms following Freundlich. ΔG° shows negative value which means spontaneous. follows equation. Qm = 223.21 g−1 contact time 20 minutes made it strong adsorbent removing water samples. removal efficiency by prepared adsorbents real environmental sample on Ulee Lheue beach, Alue Naga Krueng Aceh river has been implemented. confirmed good work applicability
