System analysis and controller design for the electric pump of a deep-throttling rocket engine

This paper proposes a controller design for the electric pump of deep-throttling rocket engine. The nonlinearity system is taken into consideration by analyzing gap metric. Then, proportional-integral-derivative and gain-scheduling linear quadratic regulator are designed. Analyzing amplitude- phase-frequency characteristics as well pole-zero distribution system, results show that designed controllers can stabilize linearized equations in incremental form at different operating points. indicates these two available original whole range working conditions this verified simulation. Meanwhile, comparison between presented. It demonstrates better tracking both step ramp signals but with worse control signals. means seems less suitable real use due to severe oscillations. parameter tuning depends on more extensive manual tuning.
