TCP-Puerto-Londero: A New Approach for End-to-End Queue Length Control

چکیده
This paper presents a new TCP protocol called TCPPuerto-Londero, which makes dynamic tuning in the congestion window (cwnd) by means of adaptive control theory aiming to keep stable and small queue length bottleneck link located on path from source destination. loop has relative delay forward measured as an input cwnd value output. Thus, unlike classic protocols, TCP-Puerto-Londero does not use Round Trip Time (RTT) information. Also, Active Queue Management (AQM) strategies Explicit Congestion Notification (ECN) based employs end-to-end management without need for ECN resources. Moreover, also aims attend challenges Industrial Internet Things (IIoT). Its performance been tested Dumbbell network topology shared UDP-like Networked Control Systems (NCS) flows. Therefore, compared with ECN-based protocols like DCTCP, E-DCTCP, TCP-Jersey, ENCN. Furthermore, this approach modeling, analysis, simulation, verification communication NCS employing UPPAAL simulation software tool, where all constituents (transmitters, channels, routers, receivers, controllers, plants) were modeled timed automata, simplifying formal complete studied system. Simulations statistical indicate that even though utilizing fewer resources (as it require AQM/ECN information) overcomes EDCTCP regard throughput fairness flows are capable more smaller than other compared, consequently, reduces impact NCS-UDPlike sharing same network, whose was Integral Absolute Error (ITAE), is desirable feature IoT.

Beyond TCP-Friendliness: A New Paradigm for End-to-End Congestion Control
The dominant paradigm for congestion control in the Internet today is based on the notion of TCP-friendliness. To be TCP-friendly, a source must behave in such a way to achieve a bandwidth that is similar to the bandwidth obtained by a TCP flow that would observe the same Round Trip Time (RTT) and the same loss rate. However, with the success of the Internet comes the deployment of an increasin...
متن کاملTCP-Friendly Many-to-Many End-to-End Congestion Control
The paper addresses the issue of TCP-friendly congestion control mechanism for many-to-many communication environment. Lack of congestion control inhibits deployment of WAN applications that involve collaboration of groups of processes in the Internet environment. Recent efforts targeted unicast WAN congestion control (TFRC). We extend that approach to multicast many-tomany applications that op...
متن کاملEnd-to-End TCP Congestion Control over ATM Networks
It is well documented that the eeective throughput of TCP can suuer on plain ATM networks. Several research eeorts have aimed at developing additions to ATM networks like Early Packet Discard that avoid TCP throughput degradation. This paper instead investigates improvements to TCP that allow it to perform well on ATM networks without switch-level enhancements, thus avoiding additional complexi...
